Getting started
From application to first visit.
01 Apply in about two minutes - name, contact details, postcode and a few quick checks.
02 Onboarding - tell us your interests and when you are free, and name two referees.
03 A 20-minute video interview with us, then our induction, including safeguarding.
04 DBS and right-to-work checks, arranged and paid for by Amble once you are put forward to a family.
05 Your first visit, once your checks have cleared.
Your rate, your time
Paid fairly, on your terms.
01 Set your own rate for each visit, travel included. The guide rate is £45 for two hours.
02 Keep all of it. Your rate is paid in full at the end of each visit, and there is nothing to pay to join.
03 Your DBS and right-to-work checks are arranged and paid for by Amble. No care experience needed.
