What it costs
£159 introduction fee
Paid once, when you choose your companion. Your first month's membership is paid at the same time.
£39 a month membership
Per person visited. Pause for one to three months, or cancel at any time.
Your companion's rate
Each companion sets their own rate for each visit, travel included, and keeps all of it. The guide rate is £45 for two hours.
Founding Families
Families who join in 2026 pay a £99 introduction fee and £20 a month, and keep that price for as long as they stay members.
An example month
Four two-hour visits a month at a companion's £45 guide rate come to £180, plus £39 membership: £219 a month in total. The £159 introduction fee is paid once, when you choose your companion.

Read each profile and rate in your own time. There is no obligation to go ahead.

Choose: first payment.
When you choose your companion, the introduction fee and your first month's membership are taken together.

Each visit: 24 hours before.
Each visit is paid 24 hours before it takes place, and your companion keeps their rate in full. If your companion cancels, you are not charged.
If plans change
Pause or cancel
Pause membership for one to three months, or cancel at any time. Membership runs to the end of the month you have already paid for.
Changed your mind?
Cancel within 14 days of your first payment, before any visit has happened, and everything you have paid is refunded. A visit cancelled with 24 hours' notice costs nothing.
Help with the cost
If the older person receives Attendance Allowance, it can help offset the cost. It is paid to the older person, is not means-tested, and can be spent on anything.
Attendance Allowance. For people over State Pension age who need help or supervision. You do not need anyone helping you already in order to claim.
