Share, speak, shortlist, select. Four simple steps to someone your mum or dad will look forward to seeing.
Chosen, never assigned
Many services start with availability and work backwards. We start with the person: what they love, who they get on with, and what makes an afternoon feel well spent. From there, we look for companions who share those interests, so the first conversation comes easily and every visit has something at its heart.
You stay in control throughout. We do the searching and the vetting, but the final choice is always yours. We would rather say no than send the wrong person.

Step 1 - Share.
Start by filling in a short form about your mum or dad. It only takes a few minutes, and it gives us a first picture of who they are, what they enjoy, and when visits would suit. Once it's in, we'll send a confirmation and a few extra questions about the things that make them light up.

Step 2 - Speak.
Next, book a consultation with our team, by video or phone, at least seven days ahead. We'd love your mum or dad on the call too, so they can tell us what they love in their own words - if that's not possible, we're happy to start with you. It's a real conversation, not a questionnaire, and it happens before any matching begins.

Step 3 - Shortlist.
We hand-pick vetted companions, matched on shared interests, personality, and distance. We'll usually show you the shortlist on the call, and it arrives by email straight afterwards. You can open it without creating an account. Each companion's rate is shown beside their name, and you'll see a first name and initial only until the match is confirmed.

Step 4 - Select.
Take your time reading each profile, then choose the companion you think your mum or dad will click with. You pick a time for the first visit, and there's nothing to pay until you've chosen. Your introduction fee and first month's membership are taken together at that point.
After the first visit
Every visit is checked in and checked out, so you always know when your companion arrived and left. Afterwards, you'll receive a note from the companion about how it went, along with a quick request to rate the visit. It's an easy way to stay close to their week, even when you can't be there.
If it's a good match, you can agree a regular day each week, so there's always something to look forward to. Each visit is charged 24 hours before it takes place, and your companion keeps their rate in full. If it isn't quite right, you can change companion whenever you need to.
What a companion is, and isn't
A companion is:
Good company, chosen by you; time spent on shared interests; conversation, outings, and a friendly face; vetted and self-employed.
A companion isn't:
Regulated care; a rota or sitting service; housework, cleaning, or home help.
